All portraits are shot on large format, I’ve chosen this medium to put the model under blah blah, unfamiliar with the large ‘old fashioned’ camera, this gives the sitter a certain ‘unknown’ experience and give me more control over the situation and direction of the model as they tend to listen to direction during unfamiliar experience more than they would with a more familiar medium for example a digital camera.
